A Message from Emergency Management Director Jarred Moore

The Rowan County Emergency Management Office is located at 600 West Main Street Morehead, KY. We are affiliated with many programs, including Earthquake, Mitigation, Search and Rescue, Responder Training, Local Emergency Planning Committee, Kentucky Department of Homeland Security, and Amber Alert.

Rowan County Emergency Management plays an active role with the Public Assistance program that, during times of declared disasters, will coordinate with the Commonwealth of Kentucky and Federal Emergency Management Agency to offer assistance to those who qualify. Our office staff is available or on call 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
