RCFC Presents $10,000 Check to Elliottville FD

On behalf of the Rowan County Fiscal Court, a check for $10,000 was presented last night to the Elliottville Fire Department by Judge Executive Harry Clark, County Attorney Cecil Watkins, and Magistrate Charlie Winkleman.

The money will be used as part of a down-payment on a new firehouse – which our firefighters badly need. A one-time $10,000 allotment such as this will be made to each of Rowan County’s four fire departments to help them in their mission of protecting the citizens of Rowan County. We thank our firefighters for all that they do for our community.
