Rowan County Welcomes CASA of Gateway
Welcome to Rowan County, CASA of the Gateway region! We're taking a moment to recognize and appreciate the incredible work done by Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs).
CASAs are more than just advocates; they're beacons of hope, bringing light into the lives of children who have faced unimaginable challenges. CASA volunteers undergo training and background checks before being assigned cases, where they act as a voice for the child during legal proceedings. The Rowan County Fiscal Court is proud to support their mission by providing them with office space here in the Rowan County Courthouse.
Let's give a round of applause to these extraordinary individuals who selflessly give their time and talent to make a difference in the lives of our most vulnerable. Thank you, CASAs, for your tireless advocacy for our community’s children!
CASA volunteers are objective, community volunteers who are not part of the child welfare system, who focus their efforts solely on gathering information and making recommendations regarding children in abuse, neglect, or dependency cases--who would otherwise have no voice. CASA of the Gateway Region is actively looking for volunteer advocates. CASA volunteers are community members just like YOU that want to make a difference in a child's life. Come volunteer with us!
