Rowan County Kentucky

Harry T. Clark Community Park

600 Community Way

A Park for all of Rowan County.

Over the last year, we’ve been hard at work on one of Rowan County’s most exciting developments in a long time - a brand-new county park located off of Kentucky Highway 801. The conceptual plan contains facilities like baseball fields, basketball courts, pickleball courts, tennis courts, a paved walking trail, playgrounds, outdoor amphitheater, picnic pavilions, and more.

This beautiful park will be so much more than just a plot of green space or a scattering of playground equipment. It’s where families come together to mark milestones, children run freely and safely, and lifelong friendships are formed over a shared picnic table or under the shade of a sprawling oak tree.

It’s a symbol of hope, growth, and unity. It represents the investment a community makes in its own well-being, a promise to future generations that they will inherit a space filled with joy, laughter, and memories. It’s where weekend games and concerts will fill the air with a festive spirit, where quiet mornings provide solace to those who seek it, and where every trail and pavilion stand as a testament to the community’s shared vision for a brighter and more connected future. A park in a small community like ours isn’t just land—it’s a legacy.

The Harry T. Clark Community Park stands to be the jewel of Eastern Kentucky recreation, and a source of pride for Rowan County for the next century. This will continue to be a work in progress, but we invite you to come out and enjoy its beauty and join us in this amazing journey as we add to it over the coming years.
