Rowan County, Morehead, and Tourism United for Ice Skating

Thanks to the teamwork between Rowan County, the City of Morehead, and Morehead-Rowan County Tourism, folks had the opportunity to skate locally this holiday season! We worked together to purchase and install an Ice Skating Rink, located on First Street next to the Moonlight School. The great participation and holiday cheer it spread in our community blew us all away!

The rink will remain open through the end of January. Skate rentals are $3. Please make sure you wear socks. Admission is free.

The rink will be open the following days/hours:

Thursday | 6:00-10:00PM

Friday | 6:00-10:00PM

Saturday | 1:00-10:00PM

Sunday | 1:00-10:00PM

The rink schedule is subject to change based on weather.
