Lake Safety Training Day at Cave Run Lake Attended by Local Fire Departments

The Army Corps of Engineers and EMS Director Danny Blevins held a Lake Safety Day at Stoney Cove, Cave Run Lake on Saturday July 22nd. Attendees practiced water safety, including but not limited to dive search, rescue training, and removing a victim in the water. Some of the fire departments in attendance included Farmers, Route 377, Morehead, Haldeman, and Mt. Sterling, as well as Fish & Game officials and an air evac team.
